Here are two possibilities using Psychtoolbox:
- You can use one PC for streaming the EEG signal (using Smarting streamer) and then catch the stream on Psychtoolbox on another PC. This way, you can observe the EEG data on one PC and perform the experiment on another PC.
- You can run the EEG streamer and Psychtoolbox on one PC, and use the other PC to visualize the EEG data using the Matlab® function m (this would be a preferred option if you have two PCs with Matlab® installed).
For Neurobs presentation:
- To observe EEG signals while performing an ERP experiment from Neurobs presentation locally (on the same PC), you will need an external monitor. You can either keep the SMARTING Streamer on the external monitor, while performing the experiment on the primary display, or play the Neurobs presentation experiment on the external monitor (to do this you should go to settings->Video and change adapter settings from primary display to e.g. Intel(R) UHD graphics driver), while keeping SMARTING Streamer on primary display driver.
- You can also use 2 PCs for recording an ERP experiment, where on one PC you run the Neurobs presentation, while other PC is used for visualizing and recording the experiment in the SMARTING Streamer. Please note that both PCs should be connected to the same LAN network (preferably without internet connection) and for better precision, we highly suggest connecting both PC with cables to the LAN router.
